Best Heroes Ever

God this game owns so bad, I played it endlessly back then, I play it endlessly again! Dont be fooled by the description though... ''Great multiplayer, especially when playing in hot seat mode on one PC'' There is NO multiplayer OTHER then hot seat mode, TCP / IP, IPX and Online multiplayer do NOT function.

It's good.

Great game, however the remaster that's available on Steam is much better visually, and still quite good despite lacking the expansions. I would buy that one first, and if you enjoy it to the end, then get this and finish the rest of the content.

Was great back then....

but not so great now, unfortunataley. I've played hundreds of hours with HoMM2 and 3, and loved it, but today it's kind of pain in the ass. The display is too small (I've used the HD mod), and the interface is not as user friendly as it should be nowadays. Also, I really have to calculate myself how much enemy unit will be killed by an attack? Nah, I don't have time for this :( So, if you've loved this game back in the days, you might just don't want to try and see it whether it's still good today, as you might get disappointed :(
