One of the best games ever made
This game is perfection. It was the high point of the series in many ways, and holds up well today. An absolute classic and one of the best games in any genre. Simple to pick up but incredibly deep gameplay systems that never overwhelm you. A must play game if you like strategy games at all.

Amazing game
Game itself still holds up, and the community has never been bigger. With new fan made expansions on the horizons, this game is worth it. I've played many games, but nothing comes close to HoMM franchise at all. It's unique, and despite other games being good in their own right, I still, to this day, return to HoMM 3. Now with VCMI, playing the game on modern systems has never been easier.
