Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete

Its nice to play again a game 25 years after I first played, but being in 2025 I expected the game to be minimmaly optimized to actual systems. The Steam version (HD) has way better screen resolution. Unfortunally its incomplete and thats why I bought this one. Unfortunally, it only works in 800x600 resolution, and it looks outrageous in a modern LCD. You'll need to install mods, and that's not exactly practical. But it works, and its fun to relive those moments when we were kids using a windows XP computer. Overall, its a nice experience that could be better crafted but still delivers a lot.

This GOG version is wonderfully stable on Windows 11. Really loving playing this again; endless hours of great gameplay for trivial cost - well done GOG!

I've played them all. This is the best game ever.

There is a reason some games are legends in their own right. Even decades after it first came out Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is still awesome. It's one of those games you should play even if you never lived during it's haydays. It's an icon of Strategy gaming and luckily has aged like a fine wine. Rated: 11/10
