Literally Unplayable.
I finally hopped into the standalone gwent game and was surprised at how fun it was. I played a dozen games with several decks and thoroughly enjoyed them and even won a few. Then I logged out and went to dinner and the problems started. Returning to play a few more games before turning in for the night, I discovered that the game seemed to be detecting a nonexistant XBOX controller on my system and forcing input through that. After some searching and trial and error I discovered that the 'controller' was actually my logitech keyboard. The game thinks my keyboard is an xbox controller and therefore nothing works properly. The mouse does nothing with any input. There is no option to swap between controller and keyboard/mouse in the options AND this issue has A LOT of support responses on the CDPR website going back to 2017. Every reply is having users jump through hoops checking a dozen things that no other game out there requires. I didn't see a single post adressing a fix or a workaround that didn't involve uninstalling my mouse entirely or finding a new keyboard to use just for gwent. And so, I literally, in the truest meaning of the word, cannot play this game. Further, if the forums are anything to measure by, many other people have the same issue and also cannot play the game either.
