I really like it
I’ve never played the original Gothic, but I do intend to soon. All things considered, I enjoyed this demo and I’m looking forward to the final release of the remake. I really like the graphics, the voice acting is great and the NPCs mannerisms set the tone really well, and I thought the sound design was really good as well.

Couldn't play it scause of locked sound.
So I know this is a demo of the game so this review is only based on this demo. So I understand it;s a demo but seriously the sound section in the settings menu needs to be unlocked. I hate playing games with music and sense I started the game and guess what......... there was music playing, I immediately shut the demo off. I couldn't play it like that. So I guess this is really more of a request to enable the sound in the demo please and thank you. :-)

Awful
Comparing it with the playable teaser from Gothic 1 Remake I can say that this one is an absolute donwgrade. The movement is the worst, there are no visual effects or any little hint on where you can loot items in open world, the combat could it be ok if the movement was ok (I prefer more this type of combat system rather than the one in the playable teaser), the UI (HP & Mana bars) is not even decent (it looks made in a hurry).

No subtiles in Spanish
Well, it doesn't even have Spanish subtitles. I'll wait for 1.0 to see if they add more languages. It was a game I was really looking forward to.
