Trial and error in the campaign
This game frustrates me to no end! if you only want to play with other people, then you can carefully give it a try, but if like me you also want to play and beat the campaign and bonus missions, then you really need a high tolerance for frustration! Galaxy Trucker is by design a chaotic game, you can get a strategic advantage by building your ships with a strategy in mind, but ultimately you have to hope that the right ship parts are on the field and that your opponents don't take them away from you. And at this point the game starts to fall apart. There are missions that demand the impossible. For example I have to deliver heavy ingots that need mutliple jet engines to balance out their heavy weight, but more often than not there are not enough engines on the field and I lost this mission countless times because I had no engines at the beginning or the few engines that make a difference get destroyed by a stray shot or meteor, failing the mission for me. In general the missions that demand specialized ships are the worst, because the adventure cards are not adapted to these circumstances. When I need dozens of engines to carry heavy ingots, I lack cannons and crew quartes to survive pirate and warzone cards, which obliterates my ship. In some other bonus mission my ship requires way too many catapults to survive enemy attacks. When I build that many I lack something else again, mainly engines and crew this time, so suddenly a black hole tears my ship apart or a warzone card kills me again because I lack something. In short, you are confronted with odds that are almost impossible to overcome, you need sheer luck for all factors to align in your favor. And this fact makes this game not fun to play. Edit: After a while I can also say multiplayer is useless unless you have friends to play with. The main problem is that the lobby is filled with inactive games and people beeing away from keyboards. The developers where not brave enough to punish inactive people and instead allowed everyone to litter the lobby with game entries that never start. I really wanted to play multiplayer, but almost all random people are punks that just can't stay in the game. I can not play against bots either so as a side effect I am unable to unlock all online related achievements. In conclusion, this game and the developer Czech Games can go to hell! It frustrates me on every level thanks to sloppy game design and lack of a strict online lobby that enforces active play. Instead the online lobby is filled with dead games that never even start. Too bad the refund policy does not cover my case here ...

Love the game, but buggy online
Bought this to play with friends online because I've played and loved the physical game, but the online multiplayer is buggy. We couldn't make it all the way to the end of a single game after an hour or two and 2-3 tries. It always locked up somewhere along the way. And that's to say nothing of one player's game crashing and having to load back in multiple times just to get as far as we did. Overall a very frustrating experience.

Black Screen
Recently picked it up. Installed it. Loads to a black screen. Music is playing and if I click around, I can hear interactions with menus. Uninstalled and installed again, still no graphics. Looked for this issue online, couldn't find it. Tried the GoG support, and it tells me I don't have permission to access. I tried contacting the developer directly, no response.
