Subpar game.
I'm not really sure why it's still 19.99 for a game with a main feature of walking. The story is hard to follow because it's all over little radios. So you'll be walking for 3 hours, nothing more. For 3 hours, you could be doing something better with your time. Saving your money too.

too bad
For a game that was sold on its human interactions and replay-ability, the story does not change in any significant way, there are no significant differences in interactions on future completely disparate breakthroughs. It was good otherwise, but felt a little weak at the end.

Bioshock meets Famicom Detective Club
Out of a lot of video games I love "Bioshock" and "Famicom Detective Club". I felt Firewatch is like BS meets FDC on beautiful nature. Because of these reasons I love this game. And finally beautiful nature graphic of this game made me want go to real nature place. from Japan

It made my cry. Literally.
This might not be a long game. This might not be action-packed. This might not be a choose-your-own-path kinda of game. But I deeply connected with it. And it ****ing made me suck some tears. This is a life simulator, and sometimes life can be dull and yet wonderful, like Firewatch. It's probably better if you are in your late 30s, early 40s. If you are a fifteen-year-old boy trying to find the next GTA stay away from it.
