Added new rendering options in DirectX mode, including Windowed Mode, V-Sync, Gamma Correction, Integer Scaling, Anti-Aliasing, and more.
Improved how the game handles registry settings for better reliability.
Fixed crashes with the video player, so cutscenes won’t trip things up.
Squashed that annoying tactical view lag.
Mouse scrolling on the map now works like it should.
Music playback has been fixed: your soundtrack is back in action.
Resolved the classic rainbow colors bug. No more psychedelic surprises.
Alt+Tab task switching is fully functional again.
LAN Multiplayer has been restored, so you can bring the squad back together.
Cloud Saves supported to keep your progress backed up.

Added full compatibility with Windows XP, Vista, and 7.
Fantastic war sim. This game was released in 1997 and was intended for pre-NT (Server OS based on Windows for WorkGroups windows operating systems (i.e. Win95-Windows 98SE). It will just fine provided that it is configured to use 8-bit or 16-bit color and having fullscreen effects disabled. Other than that, this is a great representation of an excellent wargame. With a little adjustment, this runs great in Windows 11. Just remember Windows 2000 is an entirely different OS than Windows 98
I have to say, I was surprised how well it holds up to today; if you like pixel-graphics (I do!), turn based strategy and WH40k it's solid fun. :)
Even the controls work really well, I needed two missions to get used to them, but then it became quite comfortable.
