Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on GOG, since our version is directly compatible with Fallout: London, you will only have to follow these easy steps:
- Install the English version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition via GOG GALAXY and disable your cloud saves.
- Get Fallout London in our store for free.
- Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
- Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

A pathetic waste of time and effort
An absolutely abysmal launch. Quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. Spent hours downloading Fallout 4. Another couple of hours downloading the mod. "Install" the mod only to find that the installer just extracts the mod in an uninstalled state, then have to install the mod. Tells me that I have to downgrade the game. Spent another 1.5 hours downgrading the game, having to restart the downgrader several times because it just stops downloading and disconnects for no reason. Finally get the game downgraded and then install the mod. Game immediately crashes to desktop at launch. I'm no newbie to modding Bethesda games. I could definitely figure out why this is happening and fix it, but I shouldn't have to. This isn't some rando mod on Nexusmods. It's a high profile release in development for more than five years and it's sponsored by a major storefront. And if I were to fix the launch crash, how many other bugs and crashes will I then have to troubleshoot and resolve? A crash to desktop is the worst possible omen for a game mod and usually guarantees a litany of other issues. Life is too short for this nonsense. It's a Saturday night. I could be playing a game or I could be troubleshooting a mod that reviews say is busted anyway. I know what I'll be doing. Uninstalled Fallout 4, deleted the mod. Won't bother trying again. I'm relieved I wasn't super excited for it and didn't follow development at all. I can't imagine how disappointed some people must be. The developers should be ashamed of releasing something so ridiculous and frustrating to install and so fundamentally broken and GOG, frankly, should be ashamed for hosting it without vetting its quality.

good for a mod
eventhough the game crashes a lot. somehow its still better then what bethesda made with fallout 4.

i bet its a great game if it runs
been trying for three days to get this to work. i even shelled out the cash to buy FO4 on GOG because i couldn't get the downgrader to work. probably asked 10 questions in the discord with no response but i understand that it has been spammed with other people having problems so im no to bothered by that. re installed three times taking about 8 hours each (due to my crappy internet) and still cant even get the opening cutscene to play. ive followed the instructions on their discord to the best of my admittedly limited technical ability (im no wiz when it comes to modding) i really hope that they can get the installer to work properly seeing as the official instructions on their website and GOG say to install it and then play. i hope with a bit of time they can work out whatever bugs are causing these issues. will update my review if i ever get to play the game

The worst mod since The Frontier.
This feels like someone ineptly copying the homework of Fallout New Vegas with no comprehension of how game design actually works. The writing is incredibly boring, the combat for the first couple hours is just melee against nothing but wild animals bum rushing you, it takes forever to find a gun if you're not specced into a melee build, level design often hides crucial paths in the literal darkest places on screen, the plot isn't interesting in the slightest and it crashes constantly so good luck if you aren't quicksaving every 5 minutes. The core gameplay of Fallout 4 is irredeemable garbage and this crash riddled disasterpiece does nothing to fix it. One would think that after the hilarious implosion of Fallout New Vegas: The Frontier, people would have learned to stop expecting anything from these delusional Fallout total conversion mod teams. But no, they keep wasting their time and yours. How many man hours were wasted on bringing this completely miserable content to you? Who knows. Don't even justify their delusions of worthiness by tainting your hard drive with this atrocity. If you actually enjoy Fallout 4's gameplay, you are the target audience for this miserable mod and I'm wasting my time writing this review.
