Great game
If you haven't played fallout before you are in for a treat!! And if you have, check out some of the mods like that london one, tons of fun!! The best part is that the game doesn't require a 4000€ computer to run smooth and still looks great.

Right up there
Truly one of the greatest games I've ever played. Good plot, good characters and a well-developed companion system as well as the ability to construct your own base. Plenty of main plot and a lot of side missions (important to build your character's strengths and most of them are fun). There's also a lot of fan-created missions and customisation which both irons out imperfections (removing the grenade arc being a good example) and adds a lot of playing time. Also the radio stations return with the usual (mainly) well-chosen - if short - playlist. I could go on but the bottom line is, I think I spent around 18 months playing this before I ran out of content from the main game, DLCs and fan content (plus jsut messing about in the Fallout world. The settlements have flaws (once you build them up most of the settlers are often strangely absent) but are nevertheless absorbing for a while. The last thing I'll say is that of the many enjoyable fan-created missions (all available on Nexus Mods which has a great downloader and manager) one of my favourites is 'Operation Valkyrie' - Valkyrie is a brilliant character with some great dialogue and she can become an additional companion Also '50 ways to die at Dr Nick's' is unmissable There's lots more besides - enjoy!

My favorite Fallout
This is the game that introduced me to the series. Yes, I came in late, but that doesn't make my opinion any less valid. It's just hard going back to the older games after playing this. The gameplay is smooth and the graphics are great. I like all the games but this one holds a special place in my heart. It was the first game I got when I purchased my PS4 in 2015. I played the hell out of it. This game reinvigorated my love for video games and I'm eternally grateful.

Great Open-World Exploration
Fallout 4 provides a lot of great open-world exploration in a franchise full of excellent games. The dialogue system leaves something to be desired and the story may not quite be up to par with other entries... but the explore/loot/craft gameplay loop is excellent at pulling you into the world. There is something to discover around every corner and the vertical exploration is excellent. This game would get more praise if the other entries in the Fallout series were not quite so beloved. Fallout 4 has some of the best gameplay of the Bethesda Fallout games and is quite fun. I recommend saving often your first time through and checking out survival mode on a new character.
