This newly remastered edition features updated graphics, controller support AND is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game.

With a rich multilayered narrative, innovative presentation, and a chilling musical score by famed Hollywood composer Angelo Badalamenti, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered serves as the definitive version of the supernatural murder mystery and (re)introduces the groundbreaking title to old and new fans alike.

As good (or bad) as the original

Bought the game, because the original version has a copy protection, that has problems to run on more modern systems. I am playing on Linux and the game did not start. After 5 minutes of debugging, I found that through winetricks the DLLs from vcrun2005 need to be installed and the game started to work. I played some chapters and the game works fine. It crashed once in the loading screen between scenes. The controls did not change and some events are still awful. But the game can you still catch, so 4 stars.

Nostalgic cinematic aura

Plays well with Xbox 360 gamepad in Windows 11. Reminisced the old times when I first played it with disk version, this site doesn't even existed at the times. The good news is that the remastered works well and doesn't contain any bugs. A player should forgive the developers a perplexing storyline and massive flurries of QTEs, at the times this was their second game. In later games they got all fixed up.

Cool atmosphere, fever dream plot

I admit, I don't remember anymore if the story made any sense, I did however really like both main protagonists, the wild back and forth, the oppressive winter atmosphere in New York and the overall presentation of it all. It was a cool experience, like a fever dream

My BALLS DROPPED playing Fahrenheit. :)

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered DOESN'T ONLY give you the REMASTER! It also give you the ORIGINAL GAME for free! This game is a bunch of FUN... While the STORY is sorta... OUT THERE. I get it... Quantum Dream wanted to tell a story; only they could tell... Without Fahrenheit we wouldn't have Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls and, everyone's FAVORITE Detroit Become Human. I recommend buying Fahrenheit if you wanna play Quantum Dreams SECOND GAME that really brought to life the FOLLOWING other games. I also recommend buying Fahrenheit while it's on SALE. Because Fahrenheit doesn't have much replay VALUE and I don't believe it's WORTH 9.99. The game is 3/5 STARS but... I gave it a 4/5 STARS because I grew-up playing this game on my dad's PLAYSTATION 2. This game still has VALUE to my CHILDHOOD.

QTE's totally ruin the game

I would rate this game 4.5 to 5 stars if it wasn't for the ridiculously hard QTE's. I've played many games with QTE's like Telltale Games and others. Those games had challenging but not frustrating QTE's. By that I mean it may take multiple tries to get through the QTE's, but they weren't nearly (or completely) unbeatable like the ones in Fahrenheit. I put up with the frustration of the QTE's in this game until I got the scene in the office where you have to escape from the bugs. I've tried literally over 75 times to beat this set of QTE's and failed. After this I uninstalled the game and accepted that I'll never be able to finish this game. If you can get through the QTE's, this game is a great game. It has a great story, top notch voice acting, good audio, decent graphics and flawless controller support. It's a shame the unfairly hard QTE's ruin the game.
