I'm about 80 hours into Factorio and I still can't stop playing. Fair warning: this game will absolutely destroy your sleep schedule lol. You start off just placing down a few miners and furnaces, and the next thing you know it's 3 AM and you're redesigning your entire train network for the fifth time because you SWEAR you can make it more efficient. The game starts pretty simple - crash land on an alien planet, gather resources, build stuff. But man, it slowly sucks you in. There's always one more thing to optimize or expand. Your factory starts as this cute little operation making basic stuff, and before you know it you've got this massive sprawling base with conveyor belts everywhere. The feeling when you finally get a complex production line working perfectly is just chef's kiss. The best part is there's no "right" way to play. Want to build everything super organized and efficient? Go for it. Prefer to have a chaotic spaghetti mess of belts that somehow works? That's cool too. Just be ready for the bugs (alien creatures, not game bugs - the game is actually super polished) to come knocking when your pollution gets too high. Only real downside? You'll find yourself thinking about factory layouts while trying to fall asleep. Worth it though. 8.5/10 - Would lose another 100 hours of my life to this game.
