Empire Earth Gold Edition

I use to have this game a long time ago when we got our first family computer. It was my first game with Roller Coaster Tycoon. My brother ended up destroying the disk though, and I haven't been able to find a copy to replace it ever since... If you love RTS games and never played this game, you should get it. Now. This game pretty much defines RTS games (as well as Civilization).

I really do like the concept of bringing back some of the greatest battles in history. I had purchased a cd for ee but I lost it so I got this. To bad that Gamespy shutdown so multiplayer does't work.:( Still a great game though!

Have you played Age of Empires? Have you reached that Iron Age? Irritating, huh? No more advances! And here, you have Age of Empires ^ 5 ; whole history - like in Civilization. I'll share my grudge with you. In Civ, I always loved the gigantic span, the ability to really surpass rivals with technology (shooting knights with tanks is ALWAYS awesome) and I hated the battles. In Age of Empires I loved the simplicity of RTS with the begginings in Tool Age and basically much fun but I hated being constrained to 4 epochs. Here, everything I love is present, everything I hate is gone. Only Diplomacy is lacking, but it's an RTS after all. Buy. Promo.

I got this game because it looks awesome and I can tell it would have been however I run windows 8 and it is just the worst. It looks like the textures are randomly being substituted for the ones that should be there. So that within 10 min. your looking at a completely grayish blue color. I definitely will have to fix it because it looks like freaking amazing.
