Piranha Bites at its best
Still not too far into the game, but I feel just at home in the world of Elex. Great exploration rewards everywhere.

Fun with mods
It is janky but like allmost all PB games it has some charm to it. Especially when played with some mods, that correct the most egregious shortcomings it can be quite fun.

Even more gothic in Space :)
And this is meant as a compliment ;) Absolutely solid RPG Old-School. No Hand-.Holding, no tutorials that just bore to death, no pc (!!!), but very solid story telling and gameplay. At the moment i have not tried any other language then the native german, and i hope the translations do it justice. But the german language track is one of the few game speech tracks that absolutely nails it, and not some lame-ass excuse for real talk. Love it :) In case you never played Gothic 1 or 2- this feels like it. In the best way possible imo. I can't understand what in some reviews is pinted out as eye-strain when combat starts. I got nothing of that, whith all grahipc options maxed out. One single point of critique- Jax now looks a bit like a Waschlappen. Then again, might be what is to expect after years of loafing ;)

Don't miss out on this gem
I have just finished Elex II after 105 hours (at Level 60). Elex II is (like the first part) an outstanding, yet demanding RPG. Positives: + interesting main storyline + quests are well-designed, and not overly repetitive + nice dialogues (especially with npcs like Fox) + handcrafted world that wants to be explored + new features (like the improved jetpack) actually add value Negatives: - the combat ai for monsters/opponents lacks flexibility and enemies do not seem to really cooperate Some critics rate the animations as somewhat mediocre. For all I care, those are more than good enough and I personally prefer the developer's main effort to target the story, quests and world design. And that is where Elex truely shines. But that's just me... So, to sum it all up: Go get it. Where else do you get 100 hours of quality entertainment for less than 50 bucks?

Terrible FPS issues from the start
Yeah...it stutters like crazy no matter my settings. Using a Radeon RX 6700XT so that shouldn't be the problem. I'll do some more research on how to solve this and if I don't get it fixed within the next hour I'll get a refund.
