Highly playable and interesting
I didn't know what to expect from this game, based on my first impressions I had low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's very straight forward and easy to learn and most importantly highly playable and interesting. At the beginning the graphics seemed a little bit basic and simple but while playing the game I started appreciating the general art of the game more. The mechanics are standard tactical based strategy type - you have a day to make a move and than you pass a turn. There are various resources available for you to collect, gods to worship, technologies (skills) to improve, land to explore and other tribes to interact with. All the history data in the game seems to be accurate and up to date. The demo is fairly short and you can finish it in 20-40 minutes, but you it is enough to get the gist of the game. I wish other developers would take this as an example and always provide us with demos before the final release, it's a nice and transparent way to do business.
