Just awful.

I bought this game after being a fan of Earth 2150 for years previous. Sadly, this game takes all that was good in 2150 and ruins it. The story is lame, and the voice acting is horrendous. It was so annoying and awful that I couldn't play anymore after just a couple of missions. Do yourself a favor and skip this one, and get the Earth 2150 Trilogy. That's right: Three superior games for the same price as this awful one.

Decent Game....Bad Translateion

This game was originally made in Either German or Russian, and as a result the Campaign has bad and inconsitant writing and lines. And Often the Dialog makes no sense from one mission to the next. Still If you look past that it's pretty good. If you can get past the learning curve. Which can be difficult since the poor translation makes it difficult for people to understand what all the little symbols and numbers mean. In short this is a pretty decent game for those experienced in RTS games, but not for those that aren't.

What is going on GOG?

This is the EIGHTH review oof mine I know of that has just disappeared. This time however, unlike the others, this one was a praiseworthy 4-star review. Well, I will re-state that this is indeed a good game, even if it's developer was one notorious for bad customer treatment, draconian DRM etc. Those are not such an issue with this GOG variant though. In fact I think I did mention this in my previous review for Earth 2160 - and had done so in some of the other that have just "disappeared". Is THAT the reason for all the censorship then? It is by far better than Earth 2140 and 2150 which I considered terrible, despite the raving reviews they got. The level editor also gives this game longevity beyond just playing it's campaign scenarios. The skirmish scenarios are poor though, due to cheating AI (in campaigns the AI behaviour was more controlled by scripting, and played fair) and general "rush,rush,rush" tactics.
