Сколько можно?
Игра хорошая, но уважаемые сотрудники GOG... Была официальная русская версия от локализатора "Новый Диск" - русский звук, русский текст. Тут же есть испанский и итальянский, которые даже в вашем фильтре "язык отзыва" проходят как "Иные", но русского нет. В который раз игнор русскоязычного населения... Неуважению предпочту пиратку.

Dungeon Siege is a great classic hack'n'slash looter series starting from a good to mediocre first entry, ascending with its sequal to greatness and jumping off the formula on to a ditch of mediocrity with third one. These games are not played for the main story, it is there only to give you a reason to run through generic fantasy lands. Stories in these games are not bad, just bland and dry. In short, if you have ever read a fantasy novel, seen a fantasy movie/show or played a fantasy game, you know the story for every game in this trilogy. These games are about the gameplay, party management and decking out your posse. First two Dungeon Siege games let you have a rather large group of followers with you and each of them can be outfitted or repurposed to serve your whims. Don't like someone casting nature spells? Well give him a mace and call him a fighter. Don't have a healer in a party? Give your archer a crooked piece of wood and you'll have a mage. All three games look passable for their time and have not aged all that poorly, but if you are not into old style graphics, you have been warned. About each game: First game is mostly good, but can feel clunky and selling items takes time. With right formations and configurations, battles can be handled by not touching your mouse. Companions have basically no characteristics aside from what you give them, but you can/will get a pack mule to carry all of your excess loot. But beware, elevators, platforms and such will be a point of frustration, if you have more than three companions. Second game improves on almost every aspect and adds more flair to the character progression as well as the characters themselves, such as having conversations as you roam the lands. Third game drops the whole party mechanics as you may only have one companion, as well as the character creation from previous games. I also feel that it has lost its identity as a Dungeon Siege game, but as a simple hack'n'slash it is passable.

Add, please, russian language and addon
Dungeon Siege — первая RPG, в которой персонажи не жрут бутылку с зельем целиком за раз. Пожалуй, самое нелепое — это факт того, что при покупке официальной версии игры в GOG или Steam, надо качать в интернетах перевод от Нового диска. Причём вполне себе отличный перевод и текста, и озвучки. В остальном же, игра прекрасно работает на современных компьютерах. Можно вручную поправить разрешение на нужное широкоформатное. Играется Dungeon siege легко и непринуждённо. Можно даже одной рукой. Путешествуешь — идёшь по коридору с редкими развилками и отступлениями. Гасишь монстров — просто смотришь, как их убивает твоя команда. Собираешь или не собираешь всякий мусор и потом продаёшь его или не продаёшь. Максимально простые односложные квесты, как задачки у сына в первом классе. Понятная и логичная прокачка персонажей. Ностальгия. Бывают редкие косяки с невозможностью выйти из помещения: почему-то не прогружается улица. Лечится перезапуском игры и загрузкой ближайшего сохранения. Также дополнение к первой части Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna и дополнение ко второй части Dungeon Siege II: Broken World к сожалению отсутствуют в Steam и GOG, также как русская локализация, благо старое доброе сообщество Steam предоставляет возможность добрым людям найти способ прикрутить руссификацию и дополнение к игре.

No point buying this.
I loved DS 1 and 2 as a child but without the expansion for 2 there is no point buying it. If they get the expansion I would be the first in line to buy it.

2 out of 3 ain't bad
First two games are fantastic, the third isn't. Have a look in the forum for info on how to install expansions for both games. If you want to play DS1 I would recommend grabbing the DS2 mod that imports the map from DS1. That way you get the features from the second but with the story and enemies from the first. DS1 = 5/5 DS2 = 5/5 DS3 = 1/5
