Dungeon Keeper™ 2

I loved this game since first lifting the box off the shelf at PC world, and missed it dreadfully when it died along with Windows 98. Now I can play it again - and with no disk required - legally to boot. Thank you GOG! :)

I don´t know if this has been posted before or not but I found a solution for my black screen issue. I have not encountered any sort of crash though, so I don´t have an answer for that. If you go to Support > Game support > DK2 and click on "Black screen on ATI cards" below Gameplay issues and follow the instructions you´ll be able to download a new launcher. However, they wrote that this is for those with an AMD/ATI graphic card. Anyway, I did download this new launcher and started the game but the black screen was still there. However, when i exited the game windows told me that the launcher was not working correctly and windows fixed it automatically. I then started the game again and the black screen was now gone. It has been working fine through the first levels atleast. Hope this was helpful to you :)

...at least on my PC; WIn 7 Home Premium. Read all the Comments "does not work on Win 7", took the risk for less then 5 € and got rewarded. I own the German CD-version of this game but I never got it working properly on my newer PCs, the strategic map showed up black all the times. This one works like a charm, only downside (for me) is the non multilangual version, but, well, i'll take it as an opportunity to improve my bad english. Fazit: if there's actually a gamer out there who missed this one... go and get it!

It is sad the game is as buggy as it is and unfortunately I don't think there's anything GoG can do about it. That said, this game is my all-time favorite computer game. It's fun, and very witty. The game itself is a blend of RTS meets city (well, dungeon) building where the rooms you carve out of the surrounding rock will influence the creatures that come to support your cause. Keeping your creatures happy and well trained is also important. For some fun little easter eggs play the game around 11pm - 3:15AM (or just set your windows clock to these times if you don't want to stay up that late) and receive "hidden gaming tips" from Horny himself =).

Hi Game is great, doesnt crash, however alot of the time the mouse acrolling within the game is really iffy. It can take an age to move the mouse from one side of the screen to the other, and is reall jittery it makes the controlling of minions in big fights difficult Other than that this is as good as i remember, its -1 star only for this niggly mouse issue
