Dreamfall Chapters: The Final Cut

apart from doing alot of running around there are no other negative things at all. The graphics are awesome the voice acting awesome the characters all have unique personalities. No bugs redthread are very very professional and know computer game programming top notch. I think this game is worth about £30 pound or there abouts but is being sold much "cheaper" from gog and also steam. There are 5 chapters amounting about 15 gig!! if you like non-shooting adventure games then everyone EVERYONE will enjoy this game it just BRINGS YOU IN. You feel you are there. At certain parts there is a pause in gameplay and you are warned that what path you choose next (2 MAJOR choices) DRAMATICALLY affects the story! and the story is big abit too big for me but Id rather that than no storyline at all.

If you like a good story, great dialogs, saving the world while engaging in compelling romances there's probably no better game than this one. The puzzles can get a little unintuitive but I don't mind. The music and vioce acting were prefect. I had a great 25 hours playing this game and now I feel so sad now that the story has came to an end. I already miss all the characters. If you're looking for a cyberpunk shooter (I feel like many people leaving this awesome game bad reviews were), go somewhere else. No fighting here, just a great adventure. Tip: If you haven't played the first to games and you don't feel like it just watch some story recap on youtube so you don't miss out on the story.

An excellent start to this installment. We have been waiting far too long for this- and now that it's here, I have to say that it isn't disappointing at all. Although it was a slow start, it's necessary for the setup, and I enjoyed exploring the city as much as I did. I can't wait for the next book!

Greate game, with a good story and characters.

First off, aside from the story, the mechanics of this game have far more in common with "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey" than with "The Longest Journey". Like the previous Dreamfall game, Dreamfall Chapters is more of a 3d narrative, rather than a traditional point & click adventure game (although it thankfully does away with the fighting mechanics from the previous game). You are guided through the story by various goals, solving minor puzzles, completing tasks, and making choices that affect future events. I've played up to book four, and I must say, the story is fantastic - definitely up there with Blackwell and Undertale. The voice acting and detailed environment models really bring the story to life. Yes, I would have liked a a heavier focus on the traditional puzzles that are the hallmark of adventure games, but I can't really see how that could have been done in a satisfactory way, given the expansiveness of the 3d environment.
