The elements of a great game are here. You'll have a blast for about an hour or two until you make a single mistake in combat somewhere and you loose every unit you own. What can I say, save often!

I love this game but was very sad to see it doesn't work on Windows 8. Could we please work on a solution for this so I can play this game on my new computer please.

Disciples used to be the big competitor to Heroes of Might and Magic. Where it mostly shines is the graphics. The hand drawn(?) graphics are simply amazing, even compared to the newest HoMM. The reason why D2 was poorer in sales is mostly the gameplay. The combat system is unconventional at best and the fact that one could completly anahilate even high level heroes with a set of magic spells on the worldmap greatly hindered multiplayer matches. If you buy it, wear a hat. You dont want to lose all your hair for getting your main hero killed mid campaing and having to restart the whole scenario.

...I got the demo of this years ago and played it 'til it stopped, then i found it in the bargain games at Target. I would play a campaign, be set for a year or so, and then pick it up again. Once you get into it, it's pretty addictive. You rise and fall as your heroes do. Well worth your time and a Hamilton.

Я купил игру, но отсутствие русской локализации портит впечатление от GOG релиза этой игры. Пока ставлю 3, будет русский - будет 5.
