Highly overrated game. A bad shooter, a minimal RPG, tedious and frustrating a lot of times.

I don't know how good the gameplay is past level 1, but the graphics are way too dated to keep my interest in this game. If you end up buying this game, don't compare it to the newer releases. If you're someone who doesn't care about graphics over gameplay, maybe give it a chance.

Решил я приобщиться к классике и честно говоря даже пожалел. Деревянный стелс, не хватка снаряжения и ужасная стрельба. Очень много маршрутов и вариантов подходов, настолько много что иногда могут кончиться отмычки и мультитулы. Все взломы происходят в реальном времени, и иногда это может навредить. Да и запоминать пароль и логины для компьютеров не нужно навык с хакерством поможет. Здесь есть инвентарь в который можно собрать всякого нужного, и не нужного, но, чтобы продать или купить — нет. Вру немного, можно купить патроны или определённое снаряжение у парочки человек. Стелс — сидишь в паре метров перед врагом и ему всё равно, но бывают моменты что тебя увидят с другой крыши и всё огонь, огонь. Стрельба здесь, как и в Альфа Протокол — пока крест прицела не сведётся в центре ты не сможешь попасть в голову. Ужасная отдача на автоматах и дробовиках (которые заставят использовать) Игра в общем не проходит проверку временем.

I see this game as a charlatan, that was heralded as open game play with multiple endings and hybrid gameplay. Many games came before it with those same accolades but the reign of fps and good graphics was starting to come upon us so it was and ever shall be seen as a golden goose. I played this when it came out and it was buggy, with a boring story and all its 'innovated' stuff had been done before. The game is really just system shock with a lot more focus on trying to be an action film while wielding a 90's conspiracy feel. Unforgettable? Yes, the sewer level is one of the worst in game history.
