Yeah so just dont pre-order game anymore becasue of this retail version force you use GOG not like steam has my local currency. The main game was ok but not getting the DLC because from the other review it is not worth the money and throuble to get the DLC! now steam, EPIC all using ewallet for payment and it is secure then credit card, GOG still using old system only credit card and USD for my country? Good luck with that!
I loved Witcher 3 and beleived in CDPR so much, that I prepurchased this game specifically on GOG, as they requested.
Due to the launch mess, I didn't actually play the game until a few months before PL, so I got the updated, balanced experience.
I've lost alot respect for CDPR and feel a bit betrayed.
I pushed through the content, hoping it would get better, but it didn't.
Silverhand is annoying, the game has a weird interpretation of what is 'cool'.
While V is well VA'd, the other character's are boring and try way too hard to be 'cool and badass'.
The Claire character left a sour taste in my mouth, I really didn't expect political pandering from CDPR. The only character who felt the need to share what's in between their legs. Just sad, who asked?
Also how did we go from Gwent as a side mission, to tarot cards and graffiti? I couldn't skip through Misty's rambling fast enough.
It gets a couple of stars for expanding on the Mass Effect game style a little bit with some unique things.
Really disappointed. Guess I'm the corpo sucker this time.
Compared to the amazing quality of other DLC like Blood and Wine this feels like a cruel joke.
The story is ridiculous, the set up is basicly a rip off of Escape From New York but with Madame President Marry Sue. The Stringer Bell intro at the basketball court... come on guys. It's not 100% slop, there are signs of effort but it mainly takes the form of poorly copied elements of William Gibbsons writing. Very frustrating to see a story you know and enjoy stripped of what made it compelling and cobbled back together, as if the people responsible really don't understand what made him popular.
Gameplay is also bad, CP2077 lets you pick your path, this slop expansion forces the player into specific types of gameplay with very long and boring on a rail segments.
I was too dumb to avoid this slop, please learn from my mistake.
I'd rather Join Takemura fate at the end of the of my first playthrough, he cursed me out.
Seems badly balanced and designed. The Pres can be really annoying
