Cyberpunk 2077

I am completely aware of the fact that most people think this game is a buggy mess. For me it is not ! , i play on a RTX 2060 laptop everything on ultra raytracing on ( only the first raytracing option the other 2 i have them off) on ,1920x1080 resolution with DLSS on Auto and DLSS reasolution of 4k, i have never expericed anything like this, the menu animations run butter smooth and the wholegame runs 60fps+ , no lag no nothing, this runs better than BG3 or Red dead redemption 2 and is visually much much better ! The game is SO imersive it is insane ! My first reaction was that DLSS makes all the difference , it is the first time i run a game with dlss and i would have never believed all the hyper about it if i didnt experiece it with my eyes. I started this game with the 1.12 patch so i don't know about the previous versions but i havent seen 1 glitch. I am certain that i will experience glitches at some point but i am also certain that the devs are working very fast to fix them all. In my opinion the game's state is MUCH MUCH better than the shitty state of early acess of other games , the ingame world is VAST ! Dont believe all the negative hype, there are people out there who stream and stream waiting to find a glitch only to get mad at the devs. This is our world nowdays Maybe those people havent experienced the 90s where the most simple of games had bug that made them unplayable from the execution level... Pls grow up and be patient , cant you see how difficult it must be for the devs to make this a perfect experience for everyone ? But still ! they are trying ! This is most probably more of a difficult game to developer than World of warcraft was, can you think of any other game that has such a high difficulty level to develop ? i can't

I write this review after my first playthrough and after solving almost all side-missions. I really love this game - mostly because of the incredible atmosphere, the great storywriting and the characters in the game. The developers paid a lot of attention to the details and sucessfully adapted the old Cyberpunk 2020 setting, which I played a lot as a pen and paper-RPG. The story is a bit dark for my taste, but that is suitable to the setting. Bugs: There are still a lot of bugs in the game, but until now, I found no game-breakers (patchlevel 1.12). However, one should save early and often and be prepared for occasional bugs such as "levitating" people or objects. Mechanics: The game system is a bit bland. I played a non-lethal stealthy netrunner and would have liked to have more quickhacks available. I really dislike driving, since cars react way too strongly to keyboard steering. This is perhaps easier with a controller. A mechanism which keeps your car on the road (such as in Witcher 3 while ridung) would have helped a lot. Performance: I played the game on a RTX 3070 with Full HD and raytracing+DLSS activated and found it completely acceptable. However, as a player I am not focused on having high framerates, so this is just my subjective impression. I tested the game on a old 1060 and it was still playable, but looked of course much worse. Story and atmosphere: Again, concerning story, atmosphere and acting this game is one of the best I ever played. I assume that players expecting a first person-shooter will be disappointed, since the focus of the game is not solely on fighting. I never played GTA but guess that it is not like GTA, since the main focus of the game are story and missions. However, if you like lovable and strange characters, a strong story and a setting with a lot of unique details, this game may be made for you.

Mind blowing story, graphic as well but I believe it's depending of individual player set. Driving mode not the best but it's not what is very important here. Of course there are some bugs. but I prefer to play a game which pull me in like a hoover for whole days than flat but perfectly polished up title. Cyberpunk sucked me in for whole week, don't recommend if you have a wife, kids, gf etc. they will be jealous and you will have to choose between them and the game haha. Enjoy :) I'm waiting for more, maybe some better scenario for V than only another 6 months...

First of all, Cyberpunk 2077 is my first experience with the Cyberpunk genre. I find the lore and the cast of characters interesting and it hits a lot in the gut due to some issues address in the game. What I enjoyed: > I enjoyed the various options presented to me when addressing enemies. I mostly do the hacking route that was so much fun. > Interesting cast of characters that your V met throughout their journey through Night City. I really love the backstories behind each characters. What I think needs improvement: >Unequal screen time with some of the characters. One example in general: River Ward's character mission. Among the romance options in game, River's mission is very short compare to the other RO in general. Although I find his route interesting and wholesome, I expected some more mission to cultivate their relationship (whether platonic or otherewise). It only took (iirc) three or four missions before River and V to get together (or become BFFs) which is just too abrupt. The love at first sight trope is over done if that what your writers intended to do and I much prefer that River's route was given much care as Judy's, Panam's and Kerry's route. I hope this gets improved in the expansion. >Lack of character customization (editing what your V looked like) and at least an upgrade of your apartment would be an addition especially the former during the initial launch of the game. I does get tiresome to restart when you find out that the eyes or nose you have chosen doesn't feel right. I do still look forward to the expansions especially the story related ones because I hope V could continue their own journey.

I played this almost at release and was immediately hooked - which was a pain because it was barely playable. In spite of this, i finished it several times before the current patch. That was stupid, off course, but we all do stupid stuff in the name of pleasure. Now it plays like a breeze and you'll be happy to buy it at 20 dollars less than i paid and be pleased by a work of art.
