Why?
I do not own this and neither should anyone. Five dollars for access to a map? This is absolutely insane. Leaving aside the fact that it's an always online service that will not be always online because look up Ubisoft, and oh yeah this isn't even a part of the game anyway so it can just stop working at any time. You have an in-game map that tracks and highlights objectives and you have the internet to look up FAQs or walkthroughs if you need more than that. Why this? Why get an interactive map for general casual play? Why sell access to an interactive map for these reasons? And this thing has a free version as well? What's the logic behind paywalling the version with more features when we're talking about a map? Just add the info to the free version, right? This is... a scam. An absolute scam. People have been making free guides and articles about this game to help players since it was launched and a bunch of profiteers apparently decided that that info is worth 5 bucks that they and nobody else should have access to. Meanwhile modders are working with making the game better and/or playable and they ask for nothing in return. This is sincerely mindboggling. How does a key to an online map make its way on GoG's storefront? And for Cyberpunk? After the fiasco that CP2077 was, CDPR actually expects people to pay money for something like an interactive map? Just gonna end it by saying that at least Horse Armor DLC was an in-game thing that altered how horses looked. This is just absurd. Also infuriating.
