No update to fix progression bug(s)
It's my fault for preordering, but I havent encountered such progression locking bugs in awhile. I can accept a lack of content, but having to wait for an update to make the game playable is unacceptable. They should have put more time into Q&A then charm.

Good game bogged down by bugs.
I have had 3-4 crashes, 5-6 black screens and hundreds of framerate stutters. Considering how low fidelity the artstyle is I expect better performance. + Pretty artstyle + Tons of things to do - Prone to crashes and black screens - Cannot fully remap the controller - Buggy and very bad framerate - Losing time and progress due to crashes etc I've learnt my lesson from now I'll wait 6 months before buying any game ever again.

Repent Heretics! So sayeth the Lamb!
I got hooked on this game pretty quick. Imagine if the Woodland Critters from South Park made a video game. There's elements of other roguelites like Binding of Isaac and Hades with randomized dungeon crawling and a sense of progression. That's half the game. The other half is building your cult that's not unlike a colony sim. There's a twisted sense of humor that fits with Devolver Digital's other published titles. Massive Monsters has made a great experience here, and I look forward to upcoming content. Probably my only complaint at this point is the camera is pulled back a bit too far. When battles get chaotic, it can be difficult to see what's happening. Other than that. it's blast, and genuinely funny in a bizarre way.

Cool idea, shallow execution
Cult management aspect of the game quickly becomes mostly tedious busywork with very little to zero meaningful choices. Feels more like babysitting than it feels like leading a cult. Very annoying. The combat is very basic, and the different weapons and curses are so similar that they barely change how you play regardless of what you pick up, and the tarot card modifiers you can find during runs are just stuff like "you now have 10% chance to crit" or "get an extra half of a heart". Gets boring very quickly. Cool aesthetics though, but that's just about all the game has got.
