Launching through Galaxy causes stutters
On Steamdeck the game stutters/lags/freezes every few seconds (even in menus!) when launched via GOG Galaxy. Launching the .exe directly seems to alleviate the problem but neither cloud saves nor online functionality are available.

Just buy it you will not regret it.
The fact a game of this quality can be played at 5w of power on my Ally makes it an easy recommendation, So much so I bought it on GOG and Steam. I you love classic pokemon and want something that can distract you for hours without hammering your Steam Deck/ROG Ally/ etc handhelds battery then this should should be an easy pickup for you. Its like Pokemon if Nintendo still cared about its customers, truly made with love.
