Great game!
I got the Gog version specifically so I could port it to my Mac. While I won't be running it on HD graphics anytime soon, it works like a charm. As to the game itself, it's got a very special place in my heart as someone who loves surreal art and horror. I've replayed it about a dozen times and I find something new on each play through. The art direction is insanely good, the gameplay mechanics are fun, and the story is a lot of fun. It's a lot lighter than the Alan Wake games (both in terms of mood and actual lighting), but it's got Remedy's trademark absurdist humor baked in. There's definitely things about this game that are gonna be hit-or-miss for people so I'll be frank about that. The game is very linear and story-driven, but it rarely gives you answers upfront. It rewards exploration and replay with lore. But, a lot of that is in the form of text collectibles. It's a LOT of reading material and with the UI it's an eye strain even at the best of times. So if you're not on board with the story already, you won't enjoy scavenger hunting for more of it.
