And so, in the spirit of "well, alright then, if you insist..." we present the third game in the Carmageddon series, in the knowledge that some of you Carma fans out there would like to have a complete Carmageddon collection in your GOG library. Nothing wrong with that.

Great game, infuriating glitches
It is much different than the previous entries by Stainless, and on its own I really like it. You have to actually pay attention to the timer, and although it's very strict, going up only to 4 min, this keeps on your toes and puts up a challenge as you scour the map in search of bonuses or race for the checkpoints, along wrecking the opponents. The game is varied with plenty of bizarre vehicles and locations, nice graphics and atmosphere. There is a greater focus on missions compared to C2 and I found them to be a nice change of pace. My major complains are two: The pedestrians are not as satisfying to run over as the other titles and are very hard to kill. They give only 2 seconds on your timer and without a flamethrower or zapper its very difficult to increase. Not to mention they can literally destroy your car... The greatest and most infuriating problem in this game for me are the many physics glitches that can ruin your race in unpredictable ways. I had many instances where the car just blew up seemingly at random, and after spending up to 30min collecting upgrades and credits you can imagine how bad can it be.
