Разные шутки. Правда, если какие-то из них покажутся вам не смешными, то будем считать, что в этом месте мы были серьёзны.

Одна очень трудная загадка, которую вы точно сами не разгадаете, подглядите в интернетах, но никому об этом не скажете.

I'm a huge fan of the old LucasArts adventure games, but after I read some of the reviews (A lot of them bad to average). I went into the game with no expectations. I have got to say; this game is gorgeous. The graphics, artwork, story, music, voice acting is all spot on. I especially found the music memorable. The humor is great. I found myself laughing at loud during a certain talking tree situation, and the story of the boy protagonist is so bizarre and creative, you just have to love it. Yes, the game is short, there are many cut scenes (Personally I loved them, but I can see how people might find it irritating) and puzzles are way easier than most of Tim Schafer’s previous adventure games. All in all this game is not challenging at all. You will probably not get stuck trying to figure out how to solve a puzzle. However all this did not matter to me, because I was so engaged in the story and the universe created around these two main characters.
I can definitely recommend this little gem to anyone who enjoys art, great voice acting and a game with a strong narrative. This is a must have for fans of adventure games.
I am surprised by the amount of bad ratings.
Broken Age is a very beautiful point and click game with very classic mechanisms. You collect items, Items are added to the inventory. You combine them to solve riddles.
The game follows the progression of two characters and their stories. The universe is very rich and very soon, in both universes, you realise that something is definitely wrong, although you may not know exactly what. The storytelling is really interesting. The humour of the dialogs are very reminiscent of lucas art film.
The game is quite short. Expect no more than 10 hours game for those used to that kind of adventure games. That is definitely one drawback of the game.
Another drawback is that difficulty of the game is not well-balanced. The beginning of the game is very easy but very soon is peaks. Yes, at one time you have to use the spoon to eat cereals. This is not groundbreaking but is consistent with the universe of the character that is overprotected ! Even if there are dialogues, the dialogues will not necessary help to find the answer and frankly some riddles don't make much sense. Other riddles are really good and require logic at a level not expected for this game.
I can read a lot of complaints saying that the game is no match to Lucas Arts games. It is certainly not similar although the dialogues are really good, but it is shorter and the riddles consist more in games of logic rather than just combining items. I must confess that I prefer strange combination of items in that kind of games. But I still had a good time and found that artistically speaking this game is really top-grade quality. If you want to play old lucas arts games, play them.
I would personally give 6 out 5 for the story line, music, sound effects and of course voice acting (yes, Elijah Wood, Jack Black and Will Wheaton did took part in this game quite a lot! ). The story line is very interesting and surprising (you can't always anticipate things to happen as you would think they should happen) and in general, the game gives you this very pleasant and welcoming feeling, similar to the feeling that Amanita Design games provide. The environment is very responsive and game includes a lot unnecessary animation and dialogues that create a wonderful atmosphere. The puzzles are interesting and at times very challenging. The most frustrating part was the ending which, unfortunately, required some googling from my side as I got stuck. The very last puzzles aren't "intuitive" and require a lot of analyzing, however there are some things that you do in those puzzles but without prior understanding of the final outcome and only in the end you get the 'aha!' moment. In any case, I strongly recommend not to miss this game. It has its own charm and humor which let you quickly forget minor issues with some puzzles.
(This is a reprint of my original review of the game on Steam.)
'Broken Age' is a delightful, whimsical and funny adventure game from LucasArts alumnus, Tim Schafer. It features some of the most beautifully animated and visually unique graphics in adventure games I have seen to date. The puzzles are not particularly challenging, but creative enough to keep you entertained. This is particularly so for Act 1, and it's unfortunate that Act 2 fails to realize the game's full potential.
The game was released in two parts, sadly almost a year apart. Act 1 features one of the more creative stories in PC adventure games. It is full of surprises and intrigue as we do not quite know how our two playable protagonists' storylines relate to each other -- if at all! The similarities and differences between the protagonists, in their upbringing and relationships with those around them, told through parallel gameplay make the introductions to these characters all the more enjoyable. Act 1 plays like a game about adolesence, rebellion, empowerment and curiosity that ends with a great cliffhanger, making you yearning for more of this "something (thematically) different".
Now, in the time that it took for Double Fine Productions to churn out Act 2, one would expect them to produce something worthy to follow the (doubly?) fine first chapter. Sadly, no. Unlike Act 1, Act 2 feels like an average classic adventure game, in which you solve a long series of isolated puzzles to achieve a single objective -- and you get to do it for two characters! This may be more acceptable if it weren't for us visiting the same locations and interacting with the same characters again. Plus, the protagonists do not seem to be at a disadvantage despite being in wholly unfamiliar settings relative to their prior experience. Such wasted opportunities for adding a new layer of challenge to the gameplay!
Act 2 does bring a few new twists. While these twists are interesting, they fail to enlighten or completely surprise me. In fact, these twists confuse me more, making me ask questions that I surprisingly find the characters not asking throughout Act 2. If questions are asked, they are asked by the wrong protagonist, as if the protagonists share a psychic connection through the player. The inconsistency in characterization and storytelling perspective make the gaming experience slightly jarring.
Perhaps Act 2 will be more enjoyable if 'Broken Age' were not released in two parts. If so, perhaps the wonder, magic and intrigue of Act 1 would have spilled over to the second act, and I would not have felt the "been-there-done-that" effect as greatly. (Hmm, maybe that's why Tim Schafer recommended replaying Act 1 before playing Act 2?) Despite my criticism of Act 2, 'Broken Age' as a whole is a good game. It is one of the better adventure games out there; it is easy to pick up and enjoy, and I recommend this feel-good game. As long as you keep your expectations in check, you are unlikely to be disappointed by it.
not a big fun of adventure games, but kinda fell in love with this one. fun characters, fun story with interesting twists and turns. great voice-acting and animation. "gameplay"-wise reminds me of Grim Fandango (the parts that i played at least).
