GREAT LEADER IS DEAD! WELCOME BRIGADOR

Brigador is a visual treat for the eyes. The art direction on this game is perfection. The world looks gorgeous and grimy and destroying is just as much of a treat. On top of it's perfect presentation the gameplay is a methodical and tactical joy. Getting the flank on your enemies always feels satisfying and the controls feel like a dream. I never have a disconnect from contolling my vehicle and what it's doing on screen. And the soundtrack is truly bumpin. And while the writing is less present the lore and world building is fantastic. It really makes me hope that a sequel or follow up focuses on the world and storytelling a bit more cause what little is on display in the game is great and intriguing and really well put together.

Hidden gem

The game play, the performance, and the art & sound are all great. The weapons feel great, sound great, and are very distinct. The game runs very well on linux and I am grateful for that. The writing and synthwave soundtrack are top tier and I didn't expect that from such a gameplay focused game. I'm so lucky that I heard about this game from Mandelore or I never would have known what I was missing out on.

Oh Baby what a hidden gem of a game. This is just...ohhhh mwah. Just beautiful. The soundtrack, the models, the impact of yours weapons, the destruction of anything and everything. This game is, to quote the Saint, MandaloreGaming who recommended this to me, "the ultimate stress ball." I do no know how this game was unrealized but it feels like how the mechs and robots in Synthetik must feel; all powerful all dominating and all frustrating to all who stand against it.

A Surprising Gem

Saw this go up on sale, and I thought: "Hey, I like mechs, and I've bought games for worse reasons than just that." Well good news for me, beyond the obviously abundant mech content this game also has: -Tanks (all sizes) -Anti-grav vehicles (all shapes) -A surprisingly robust and well-crafted universe/setting -A metric s***load of guns -Monetized large scale property discussion (without even a hint of guilt!) Gameplay is very enjoyable (nice mix of fast-paced action and clever tactical planning) Art style is excellent (it's all 2D, but has exquisite detail) Sound and music are a surprising highlight (quality synth tunes for the hardworking mercenary) It walks a very enjoyable line between stomping around in a giant war(crime) machine to just revel in the breaking of everything, and rolling out in a cardboard-box-covered tuktuk with coaxial water pistols to prove that you're the David the the enemy's goliath. Give it a try, fiddle with the controls until you find a scheme that suits you, and enjoy stomping on civilians for $50 a pop.

massively underrated

except for some technical blemishes, no real story to have as guidance, and some repetitiveness, the game gripped me. this sprite looking, unique aesthtic with strong at times synthetik bombastic mechcombat where you gotta think and go smart about how you approach each level, manage your mechs ammunition and movement to avoid death, think about enemy movement and positioning, the sheer amazing C&C3 greatness of aesthtic environmental destrcution cranked up to 11 like you are godzilla stamping through towns and cities, the perfectly balanced difficulty. man this game was a short, but extremely pleasing to blast through mech game. i can´t undermine how much the amazing artwork of the C&C 3 era benefits the games atmosphere, together with the deent soundtrack it will immerse you immediately after the tutorial. only issue i had was that some mechs are simply too op and some are way too weak rendering them often useless in most scenarios.
