Blood is a classic FPS game. Its level design, animation, movement, arsenal of weapons and monsters are as delectable today as they were in 1997. Fresh Supply is a solid way to experience it all, though there isn't enough to win over longtime Blood players from their favorite sourceport.

Flawless port of a tremendous classic
All the hallmarks of a great port that goes beyond what you'd expect. * Stable * Vulkan renderer * Highly customisable input options * Improved mouse handling, no more strangeness when aiming up and down * Perfect use of voxels to improve some details * Free expansion packs (The good ones, from a time when expansion were expansions, not bits of the main game cut out and sold to you for extra) * Leveraged the original source, so enemies, weapons, physics all feel correct * Campaign co-op * Deathmatch * Further graphical improvements (Anti aliasing, Ambient Occlusion, widescreen support, FPS counter) ..and finally, although the game includes this huge array of improvements and more, they're *all* optional. Don't like something for any reason? Turn it off. It's hard to criticise as it's clearly the product of excellent decision making and execution. If only this type of quality was the rule rather than the exception.

Nice port
I owned the original which is a masterpiece, my favorite soundtrack in a video game I think! Bought the remake for controller support for casual sessions, not disapointed , -50% discount taken into account.

A dynamite game!
I had heard that this game uses the Build Engine which also powers Duke Nukem, and that some people even praise it over Duke Nukem. Gameplay wise they might be right, but I still prefer the one liners, weapons, and babes that Duke Nukem brings to the table over Blood. With that being said, it’s a pretty perfect first person shooter, with the exception that some of the levels are a bit confusing to navigate through. I will have most of the enemies defeated and keys collected, yet I’m still endlessly backtracking through a maze trying to find the correct path. I feel like with some of these mazelike levels that my in-game time is going to be around 200 plus hours, like it’s a Fallout game or something LoL, and that is a big complaint, but it’s the only complaint. I highly recommend it!
