Blood 2: The Blood Group

When i first heard about this game i was all oh joy! But when i actually played it, i was pissed as a priest in a brothel. To begin this rewiev i have to say that everything that was good in Blood is horrible in Blood 2. The graphics remind me of such horrible games as Quake 2, where flying blood and gore is made up of small cubes of different shades of red and brown. The voice acting is atrocious, and the crappy weapons make me want to claw my head off. Most if not all weapons can now be dual-wielded now for example, instead of making it a powerup only thing which would be more sensible. Not that it actually improves your firepower since multiplaying 0 with itself is still 0. The lever design is what you could expect in Sin or some other crappy game, but not the sequel of Blood. There's no secret places or anything like it that would make the game more enjoyable to play other than just blasting through each level as quickly as possible. Not that i'd want to spend time with the game any more than absolutely necessary. They should have made the game into either the same engine as original Blood or then used something other than a Q2 lookalike wannabe 3d engine. For the record i did play this game all the way through, just because it was hard in an annoying way, and i never leave a piece of ... game like that in defeat.

Works on: Windows (XP, Vista, 8) Do you see 10 mentioned there? No. So why would you moan about it not working on Windows 10 when it clearly says it doesn't work on Windows 10 100% of the reviewers moaning about Windows 10 should be banned from GOG forever. Blood 2 is a great FPS from the golden era when games like Quake 2 and Half Life were on every Big Box shelf. It does nothing new but is a perfectly fine game, well worth a buy when on sale if you are into the late 90s FPS style.
