Beyond a Steel Sky

i'll preface this by saying i haven't played beneath a steel sky, but this one was on sale and it caught my eye. physics and animations are a bit janky but the story is just that; perfectly ok! good in a way that its not a masterpiece but still Very far from what i'd call bad. its a story that very much says what it means right to your face and i like that also very thankful for the hint system, as someone who does NOT have a brain made for puzzles

Very enjoyable Sierra style game with a wonderful cyberpunk feel. Voice acting is well done, and the story/mystery compelling. Hint system there to help if you aren't sure what to try/do next

Game has grown up themes, so not for most youngest players. Somewhat more improved gameplay from the last game. This time a hint system helps you past points you get stuck in. The puzzle solving flows fairly smoothly. But it might seem the story went a bit fast, maybe. A day night cycle and sleep option might have been good. It is in 3d, the last one was in 2D.

I discovered this game on the Xbox X and had to buy it immediately due to my adoration of adventure games. My lord, the story telling is inspired, the graphics are gorgeous, the soundtrack is crisp and spot on, the voice acting is dynami, fresh and gritty, the puzzles are varied and challenging and the hint system is subtle and rarely needed. Revolution have knocked this game out of the park and I'd adore a follow up, in 3 to 10 years.... because you can't rush these things. Top marks for this game, well done!

I know I'm late to the party, but what a great adventure this game is. Having played Beneath a Steel Sky, I was looking forward to play this. It did not disapoint
