Amazing, if a little too dense
As per title, this game is amazing, the story is gripping and dark, really dark. Madness, moral choices, consequences, there is A TON in this final installment of the Arkham series. Batmobile feels a little bit forced at times, but it's a refreshing addition to the classic epic brawls. My only complaint is that the story is too dense. Knowing there won't be another Batman game for years, they tried to stuff the WHOLE Batman universe in this game. At that is a lot. It's not believable that Batman can arrest nearly 100 criminals in ONE single night. It's a game, suspend of belief is a must, but holy moly if this night was a busy one for Batman. However, my final score is 5 - 1 = 4, for that density of the story and the missing achievements in GOG version, which the latter affects the replayability of the game.

As expected and more
This was the final evolution from the greatest gaming era, when all detail was done with to be perfect, exhausting resources in budget at its maximal performance. Now is about selling a bunch with mediocre inversion.

It Actually Works Now!
I remember the PC port of this game being infamous, but thankfully after this amount of time there must have been a lot of work done. It looks slick and moves fast! Even more so than Arkham City you feel in charge of your movement, grappling where you want, gliding where you want. Combat has been SEVERELY simplified (basically just hammer one button and you win) but you can mix it up with different abilities and well timed button presses, and the focus this time round is really on the vehicular battles. The Batmobile turns into a tank and has a whole system based on dodging and delivering damage to gain power for targeting missile attacks. There's even an open world element now where you can wander nearly anywhere and talk to anyone (as long as they don't attack you). Quite fun! Nothing really too new, but it's more like a greatest hits of the series in one place and time has been kind to this game. I didn't get any major slow down or glitches and overall a smooth and exciting experience.
