Recommending it even in 2025
It's a really superiour, fun game, with really cool, and challenging ellements. I'm kinda late to the party, but I can see it that how influenced other games. Great Great title.

Awesome game. Still entertaning
Great atmosphere if you like the dark, gothic Batman of the 90s. Better than Arkham Origins, so I'd play that one first.

Solid ass game
Lots of improvements to Asylum. Open world and excessive darkness are a minus though, the open world is more overwhelming than fun (even worse in Arkham Knight) and Asylum managed to be colourful AND dark without being literally... DARK. Arkham City sadly is a little too literal with it. These are nitpicks though, game's solid af.

Great Game
This game is incredible. As someone who never got the chance to finish this game, despite first starting it 7 years ago, I've always known that this game is a game that screams quality. Yes, this game has its flaws, and missions can be milked out of their replayablility, but it's a product of pure dedication, and only improves the more you play it. Every Arkham game on the table has their key element that makes that game the best in a certain way. Arkham city is without a doubt, the golden boy of the series. It might not have the best graphics, combat, or (debatably) story in the series, but this is the best balance of every category out of all the games. While Arkham City may not be my personal favorite title in this outstanding series, it certainly has a special place in my heart, and is worth every penny. Don't have any second guesses, just buy the game, and enjoy your time with it.
