This is your punishment for not fitting in, for daring to speak your mind against the powers that be. You have a choice: accept your fate and die in this cold, dank underworld or take up arms against the tyrant who stripped you of your life, your status, your freedom. Will you be the first to escape Avernum?

Avernum: The Complete Saga features six complete dungeon crawling RPGs designed for anyone who longs for an epic quest, enjoys a fascinating and engaging tale, or misses the classic days of role playing games. Included in the set is Blades of Avernum, a collection of smaller adventure modules, such as A Small Rebellion, The Valley of Dying Things, The Za-Khazi Run, and Diplomacy With the Dead, and gives you the complete freedom to create your own adventures and cunning characters to share with your friends.

Awesome!

I tried Avernum: Escape from the Pit by chance earlier this year and was enthralled by the detail, customization (such as your entire party), and feel of the game. The Avernum series will not disappoint. Thank you once again GOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a wonderful buy!

This might be one of the best buys in gaming available at the moment. Ok the graphics are old school but the gameplay and story are rather fine. Your also getting easily 600 hours of gameplay. Skyrim is pretty but can't boast the RPG experience that this series can deliver. Working beautify on my top end mac.

Like a good interactive book!

Great games in my opinion! Avernum, Geneforge and now Avadon. Those games are great single-player expieriences that have an AMAZING ammount of content, are well written and offer an entertaining level-up process. I love the story, the characters, classes, loot system... And most of those games bring over 100h+ of gameplay! Plus, great and quite tactical turn based combat. I am glad that those games are here.

Great old school experience

I am a long time gamer, going all the way back to the early eighties. I have a soft spot for the isometric rpg and the Avernum series does it right.

Hardcore RPG cake made at home

Extremely low production values. Hardcore RPG mechanics. Turn based, tactical, story driven. Lots of reading. If that does not scare you, buy it and play it. Buy and play everything Spiderweb. If you a hardcore strategy turnbased rpg nut, this one is for you.
