Classic FPS
This is some classic FPS gaming. Most of your attacks are delayed to make it feel like you're casting magic. In this sense it feels really different from most other FPS, but it works well. Audio is great, visuals are great. Stage design is wonderful. Weapons are fun and varied. Just play the game.

Poetry in Motion
If heretic and Hexen were remastered, this game is all of that, but weapons are amazing, and maps are not key hunts after key hunts and switch puzzles.

One of the best Boomer Shooters, period.
There is nothing else to add, the game oozes charm left and right. The visuals are jaw dropping (yes, even when it feels like an old shooter from the late 90's). The weapons feel good and the gameplay is smooth.

Amazing in so many ways!
Amid Evil is a Boomer Shooter from New Blood (who specializes in Boomer Shooters, lol), but it's so much more than that. Is a beautiful game, with an abstract/polygonal character design, cool weapons and a surreal Soundtrack, that invokes awe and wonder. While lacking in Story (like most boomer shooters), it has so much character that it doesn't matter. Give this game a try and, if you have an RTX GPU, get this game.
