Story driven awesomeness

First some tech facts about my potato so you can decide if your potato is up to the task: i7-9700K CPU 3.60GHz, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080 SUPER 3440x1440 All settings to max and DLSS Quality: around 60fps most of the time with some occasional drops, especially in crowded zones (down to 44fps)... but when the screen is flooded with rats by the millions and whole buildings are crumbling on top of Amicia, I saw some nasty drops down to 30fps. DLSS set to Performance really helps to keep stable 60-70fps + No crashes, 0 bugs, this game really is a finished product! All hail Asobo Studio! + Kudos to developers for supporting Ultrawide screens and PlayStation controllers + Trully remarkable graphics and soundtrack + Once again, congratulations to the French voice acting team! An outstanding performance that kept me totally captivated till the end. - Lip-synching though, is not that convincing - Some cords are just straight lines poorly designed in Paint and with the worst animation I've seen since the Atari 2600. You will see this ugly animation no more than a couple times and for less than a second, but this game is otherwise flawless and deserves better. These 'lines' needs to be fixed or removed totally! It took me 48h to complete my 1st playthrough... picking up flowers and feathers, and taking a lot of screenshots, and killing them all!

Stunning sequel

Overall A Plague Tale Requiem was a fanatstic game that I will remember fondly, for a number of reasons. It is certainly not a feel-good game, but an emotional journey. But there are also some odd things here and there, especially concerning some of the characters that you meet. Graphically this game is stunning. it might be the best looking video game I have experienced so far. Beautiful lighting, textures and environments make the world come to life like never before. Unfortunatley this also means you need strong hardware to play the game properly. Especially during scenes where many NPCs are on screen simoultaneously, ther framerate can go down drastically. Where the game struggles a bit in my eyes is in the story telling department and the writing. There are some weird choices made by Amicia and some NPCs they meet that are strange at best. I dont want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at that. Gameplay is largely the same when compared to the first game, even though Amicia can and will act a lot more aggressive in this game. The bodycount is a lot higher this time around.

Good Story Game

Good graphics, good world building although cant explore that much, slow paced game, and nicely optimized.

Really disappointed

I really loved the first game, I played it through twice and I really hoped this game to be good too. But sadly what I received is a walking simulator (literally, half of the game is about you being forced to walk in an environment where there's nothing to see or do) with greasy dialogs ... I hope they wont continue this saga, as clearly they ran out of ideas.

The best game following the previous one

This is the sequel! This inherited the fine points of the previous installment. Advanced graphics, better BGM, and characters have grown. The story shown by the game expresses the feeling that continues in the previous episode well, and it is attractive enough. The production of the game also improved, and it was fun while playing. I don't know if this game will continue to develop into a series, but I respect the production crew. The previous one was the best game for me, and this one is the best game. "A Plague Tale: Innocence & Requiem" is my best game.
