Good intent but failed execution
I am still at the beginning and i already hate the controls (playing via X-Box Controller for PC). I died bcs i could not manage to face my attackers - it simply did not turn... The Story could be nice, i am to upset to play further and the game may well be buried under my backlog mountain... A story as short as it is sad!

The worst experience ever
"1428: Shadows over Silesia" is, without exaggeration, one of the worst gaming experiences I’ve had in over 30 years of playing. The gameplay is horrendous, the controls are clumsy and painfully slow, and the riddles are nonsensical to the point of frustration. Every quest feels like a tedious chore, and combat is joyless and awkward. Instead of immersion, it delivers irritation. A historical setting wasted on utterly poor execution.

Complete ignorance
From the game description, I quote: "Shadows over Silesia is a dark action adventure game with fantasy elements set in real medieval Europe." and "The year is 1428 and the Hussites have just set out on their Silesian campaign." Someone please explain to me how to take seriously the creators of a "historical" game who don't know when the Middle Ages ended? The year 1428 was the Renaissance - the darkest period of modern times (not to be confused with the current period 1914-today). The Middle Ages ended around 1100-1200, with the sacking of Jerusalem or the massacre in Constantinople (depending on the school). How can you be so ignorant as not to know the basics?
