Old-school FPS a la Heretic/Hexen
This game is incredible. It tickles my nostalgia for old-school shooters. There's no real story, just run and gun action. Don't judge this game by these people giving it negative reviews because it's boring, because most of them hadn't even been born during the golden age of first person shooters, and thusly can't appreciate this gem of a game. Get it. Now.

It was okay, but I lost interest quickly
This game is well put together. It looks nice, it controls well. The problem is that there isn't a lot to do. the pickups are always experience points or ammo for your weapons, you get upgrades on level ups, but there are no items outside of the base four weapons. There are some special rooms, but they don't have a lot to do in them. Treasure rooms occasionally have minions ambush you, trap rooms are just trap rooms, lore rooms are just lore rooms, and the rooms with the boss key just have the boss key Sometimes the different rooms have modifiers, like everyone gets quad damage, high fire rate but low damage, low fire rate but high damage, or the minions in the room are invisible. Sometimes the minions are invisible without the modifier active. This does not serve to increase the challenge or make things fun. They're annoying at worst and just kind of there at best. This game isn't BAD, but it's not very good.

a good fast roguelite fps
ideal for my meal pause at work, i really enjoyed this game, it doesn't hurt your brain, is fast, and really good to take a pause :)

Magic DOOM Dead cells
It plays like oldschool doom with dead cells style maps but you use magic, wand and bombs. If you just want to kill things and go this is a perfect choice.

Quite decent, but has flaws
It's a fast-paced roguelite FPS. Random-generated levels, permadeath, character progression, quite a bit of different weapons, perks and, surprisingly, a plethora of characters to choose from. You will, however, have to unlock all this through gameplay and meeting certain boring conditions like "kill 200 goblins" to unlock characters. It takes around 2 hours to beat, but its value is in replaying. That said, the game is somewhat let down by a noticeable lack of variety in level design. All rooms and all levels are different, but look the same to me. It does not really detract from the action, but it does impact my personal enjoyment. On the other hand, enemy variety is pretty decent. Not a bad buy, if you ask me, but not for everyone.
