Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking grunt of a low-ranking yakuza family in Tokyo, faces an 18-year prison sentence after taking the fall for a crime he didn't commit. Never losing faith, he loyally serves his time and returns to society to discover that no one was waiting for him on the outside, and his clan has been destroyed by the man he respected most.
Ichiban sets out to discover the truth behind his family's betrayal and take his life back, drawing a ragtag group of society’s outcasts to his side: Adachi, a rogue cop, Nanba, a homeless ex-nurse, and Saeko, a hostess on a mission. Together, they are drawn into a conflict brewing beneath the surface in Yokohama and must rise to become the heroes they never expected to be.

Like a Dragon (Quest)
Our hero, a dude with a spiky punk hair-do (wink wink) is one of 3 old losers with no money and no friends or family who sit around a brothel and talk about how much they love Dragon Quest. They go to the movies to watch old boring films and try not to fall asleep. The Yakuza games are some of the most well polished fun you can find in video games and more importantly are some of the best stories ever told. These stories would work easily as stand-alone films or even written novels. They are very, very good. The games are full of heart and love, densely populated with references and clever fourth wall handshakes with the player. Live the dream of being an old broke loser who spent his youth playing video games and now fights other homeless for scraps while feeding delusions of heroism! Another beautiful gem in the Yakuza Crown!

Great Game and best place to buy is here
Another entry from Yakuza series, now we have Kasuga Ichiban in place of Kiryu whose fate we know at the end of Yakuza 6. Radical shift from action beat-em-up combat to Turn-based RPG might turn off some people from this game, but do give this game a chance as its still Yakuza game at the heart of it. On the other hand, I like the fact that the one sold here has no Denuvo DRM, so I will purchase any future Yakuza entries in this store.
