Not bad, not good.
The older version was better, but this fine remake. Not bad, but too easy, and had some misson bug.

runs fine with Wine using Lutris
Pro: No tinkering needed to run this game on Linux using Lutris with standard wine configurations From technical perspective flawless, I was able to complete the game in around 8hours with absolutely no technical issue graphics still quite unique with the comic kind of look Con: to the gameplay itself: better stick to the original, follow the reviews :D I am a huge fan of the original game (quote kendray review: I LOVE XIII), still have a DVD version at home as well as owning it on gog. Despite all the negative comments I still bought the remake on discount - well I knew what was coming There are so many issues with the gameplay, where to start? - within each level after loading screen, the guns and ammunition are reduced to random selection(?), why did I collect them anyway? - opponent AI is laughable, stealth sections still suck - the video sequences are so damn boring, for some levels I don't even know why I am here - the original makes that much better

Lazy Port and Ruins the OG feel
Just no. 1: the price it far too high for what little work they put into this. 2: and more importantly This runs like crap even on a high end PC, no excuse for this to run on my system at 30fps and below when Im running things like FF7remake and Elden Ring at 120 solid frames. 3. I will say this is at least a little better than the switch port where they RUIN gyro aiming for anyone using inverted aim. Like who the F wants to invert gyro?? If im going to shoot you in your face, im not going to aim my gun at your balls. Just don't get it. Get the original. 4. Updated art which ruins the entire look and feel of the original. True only positive I can say about this is that it is still the OG voice actors. Nice hearing David and Eve together again.

Mam XIII oryginalną w kolekcji gier i powiem jedno - jako koneser tej gry zawiodłem się na remake'u. Niedopracowana, leniwa, łasa na kasę i po prostu brzydka oraz uboga w zawartość. Kupcie oryginał za ten kilka złotych, wgrajcie kilka patchy i będziecie bardziej usatysfakcjonowani.
