very little mouse issues (sometimes when along the screen edge it takes a hard "push/pull) to get it going, texture issues are fixed. Game has been fun. save often!

Fun DnD Style RPG with Great Sound
First off, just play for the music and sound. The score is AMAZING, and the sound design is creepy and cool. Second, this feels a lot like someone wanted to make a game a lot like DnD for the PC, and did a great job. If that is your thing, get this game. The graphics are ok and the controls are antiquated, but that is part of the fun here.

You'll love it, if you'll run it.
Honestly, a week ago it wasn't the best game from the past i've ever played. Tried it only once, couldn't understand it and swiftly deleted it. It was 15 years ago. But i found it here, on GoG, and tried it once again. And again. And once again. That much because of countless attempts to make it run smoothly. And after one success i fell in love with this game. Surely, there is a lot of bugs and crazy decisions regarding HUD and process, but gameplay is just fine as soon as you go deeper.

Wizards and Warriors
It may be dated when compared to modern RPGs but that dosent mean the gmae has nothing to offer. Wonderful music, a complex magic and role system. An expansive world with good voice acting and characters. Ive spent years trying to beat this game with the physical copy; because its always been on a modern computer ive never been able to. In town shops would be unselectable and by the time you reach the second town you couldnt select the gate to leave. Now i can and its a childhood dream come true.

Despite being blocked and....
... could not complete it, Wizards and Warriors is truly a remarkable (although fairly liner... which I think is good, the game is already enormous) example of CRPG and a deep one at that, providing with a simple introduction to the classes before giving you the option of specialization. Now, I did mention I was blocked both by a bug and a peculiar design choice... and since I was already pretty deep in the game, I chose not to pursue (maybe in a few years I'll attempt another run), and there are also some wooden mechanics here and there that requires a little bit of patience... Despite this, however, the game is quite profound, enjoyable and ultimately repayable, and really deserves its spot in the ''must play at least once'' in the CRPG genre.
