SIMPLY THE WEST - AMAZING GAME

Simply the west and better than all the Rest. This game is "Dynamite" and believe me, when I say! there's enough of it in this game to Blow the competition away. This is pure Fun at it's best and I will be looking forward to WOLFEYE Studios up and coming games in the future. They did everything right in my opinion - some people knock the Combat system, but i just think it makes you quicksave and Replay the Shootouts, which are just pure fun and tactical. DON'T EVER UNDERESTIMATE THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKING THE FONTS AND WRITING READABLE AND THEY DID A TOP CLASS JOB OF MAKING MY EYEBALLS STAY IN THEIR SOCKETS. (I'VE STOPPED PLAYING AAA GAMES IN THE PAST JUST BECAUSE I COULDN'T TAKE THE ASSAULT TO MY EYES ANYMORE - NO WORRIES WITH THIS GAME THOUGH - LOVE YOU WOLFEYE! KEEPING MY EYES! HEALTHY XXX). A N Y W A Y JUST BUY IT YOU WON'T REGRET THIS LITTLE BEAUTY...YEE HAW...

Good immersive sim, terrible controls

The atmosphere and the situations you face are very good, and as you can see in every good immersive sim, you have tons of possibilities. However, the controls are one of the most horrible things I've ever played in a 3D game. Seriously, the controls seem a strange mix of an old PlayStation One game with 8th gen components if you play Weird West with a controller. The horrible controls force you to face all the situations with enemies stealthily because of it's very difficult to fight against them, so the immersive sim experience falls apart and it becomes a pure stealth game. After overcoming the first story, I uninstalled the game. I bought this game because Prey is my favorite PC after Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2, but it seems that Weird West was too big as a project for the development team, that it was composed by some people who worked in Prey from Arkane Studios.
