Warlords III : Darklords Rising
A Throughly satisfing game to whittle away the idle hours. The first 100 hours was frustrating , got killed a lot, until I became familiar with the game mechanics, hero bonuses, strategy and tatics and how the buffs/debuffs affect combat out comes. I gave the game 4 stars because of the art work in the intro, very kitchy.

Warlords III Rocks
Been playing the campaign "Bane Wars" and discovered how important it is to advance your 3 primary heroes so you can best exploit the weaknesses of your opponents. It helps to advance your Pegasi units in this campaign because without being able to produce them in one turn I see no way I could have ever beaten this campaign.

Warlords 3 Dark Lords Rising
This game should have been called War Lords 3 Complete. It has both Reign of Heroes and Dark Lords Rising, plus others campaign. The best of all you can edit armys or build your own army for individual scenarios. You'll have fun trying out all type of units in game play.

Oldie but Goodie!
Still as much fun today as it was when it first came out. AI leaves a bit to be desired, but don't all 4x games? This one allows you to build cities, conquer cities, level up heroes, build stronger armies, etc. All so you can go and wipe out the enemy! This game has the good sense to let the AI resign when you have overwhelming odds. You don't have to fight everyone to the bitter end. Great game!

A game of thought, with some luck elemen
skill in strategy is what this game is about and any mistake is punished in playing this game. While there is an element of luck in questing, and against the odds fights, there is a balance which can allow a player with ability to win half the time making the game interesting.
