Good series
Just wanted to add my voice with those that gove props to this RTS/RPG series. I have always enjoyed wasting a good Friday night-turned-Saturday morning session with this game and its predesessor, Battlecry 2. My only gripe with GOG at this point is that they have not gotten the original Warlords (the turn based stratagy masterpeices that eventually gave birth to the Battlecry series), which would prove the greatness of this site beyond all doubt. I would dearly love to play them again as my copy of Warlords 3 will not play on Windows Vista or 7.Please help us out GOG!!!!!!

The Holy Grail of RTS
This one got everything right. It is THE RTS by which i compare and judge all others. Other reviewers have covered the mechanics, so I won't go in to that, but suffice it to say this game is purte gold. My highest recommendation if you like RTS games!

One of the best games ever! :)
I am so glad to see WBC3 here at GOG! :) This game is definitely one of my all time favorites, with its excellent single player mode, tons of custom character (hero) possibilities, and the possibility to make one's own maps, even. The music is superb, too, and the combination of real time action combat and resource building is a winner. It IS a fantastic mix of RPG and RTS. Get it and have fun! :)

Great Solo RTS
I bought this game when it came out. The Heroe system is quite good, better than Warcraft 3 for instance. RTS side is a bit weaker BUT there is a lot of different sides available. The only true problem with this game is that heroes become so strong at high level that you don't even need troups what make the game very unbalanced in multiplayer mode. If you would like a good and smart solo RTS : Buy this one! PS : Excuse my english because it's not my native langage.
