Solid old school fantasy RTS. The soundtrack is excellent! The selection of races and classes will blow your mind. Not locked behind a pay wall will not blow your wallet! Amazing value in this day and age!

Nostalgia talking, but anyway
If you can get over the poor pathfinding, slow unit response time, and generally unreliable unit AI you'll find yourself in an incredibly varied strategy game that is a blast with friends and can be played like Diablo, Warcraft, or anything in between. Probably not balanced, but fascinating to play.

Greatest RTS Of All Time
This is easily my favorite RTS to this day. With over a dozen unique factions and a hero that leveled up and could specialize in just about any way you can imagine the incredible combination of strategy as RPG has never been done as well since. Here's to hoping that a Warlords Battlecry 4 is somewhere in the future!
