Warhammer Underworlds – Shadespire Edition is a digital adaptation of the explosive, high- stakes, turn-based strategy tabletop game from Games Workshop that pits mighty warbands from the Age of Sigmar universe against one another in an eternal player versus player batle for Glory. Choose a warband, build your decks and carve a path to victory using dice-and-card mechanics that offer boundless strategic depth.

ASSEMBLE YOUR WARBAND

Trapped within the towering spires of the Mirrored City of Shadespire, fourteen warbands batle it out for survival - each with unique abilities and a distinct combat style. All of these warbands are now available to play in online matches, bot matches or single-player challenges, having previously been available as DLC!

Your success is measured in Glory points - awarded for achieving objectives and vanquishing your foes. Deckbuilding is the strategic heart of Warhammer Underworlds – Shadespire Edition. Your 20-card power deck is filled with clever gambits, powerful upgrades, and cunning spells you’ll need to inflict maximum damage. Your 12-card objective deck will shape your tactical approach to a match, allowing you to score Glory by fulfilling specific conditions.

CLAIM THE SPOILS OF SHADESPIRE

A rewarding progression system in both online matches and single-player Challenges allows you to earn cosmetic content including warband skins, deck portraits, and player titles! Only those who have proven themselves in the unforgiving streets of Shadespire will be able to claim these rewards.

Cannot unlock all skins offline

Alas,you need to play multi/online to unlock a lot of skins. So,the game is nice but if you dislike Galaxy and anything "linked"...beware...

It's actually pretty good

YES you have to be online to play ALL content but you can play it single-player online against bots with ALL content or offline with limited content and that choice is yours. Considering that you have to be online to get it, online to make a post, online to browse and online to write a review I'm not really sure what the issue is with being online. The game description does a pretty good job of describing game play and does address online requirements for some modes of play. It's still a good game even without all content enabled (your choice) and a dollar cheaper than on Steam and with no sales tax. Choose to play single-player online and you get all content and future content for free. Sounds like win/win to me ;)

Smegmar is a travesty.

There's a reason why they left "Age of Sigmar" out of the title of the game. They want to trick you into thinking this is Warhammer in anything but name, but it's not.
