Really good sequel
once again, the story is awesome, new characters and things like that. it's really intersting and well done. I will miss telltale, hope they finish the final season tho.

Overall As Good as Season One
The second season of the Walking Dead series by Tell Tale in some ways improved over the original but in some ways was a step back. Overall it was not worse and is worth playing. On the positive side I really liked how there was room to make a much more hardened version of Clementine than I thought we would be allowed. Usually I would have been put off having to play as a kid but she was no damsel that’s for sure. I also really liked the character of Jane and was glad she got a decent amount of screen time. The voice acting overall was good but I want to signal out Michael Madsen who did a really good job voicing Carver. Once again I really liked some of the darker choices you could make that was riding the line between good and evil. On the negative side I would say that this season basically made the DLC episode of 400 Days from season one pointless. It introduced characters you would meet at Carver’s camp but then, aside from one, did nothing with them outside of a minute or two screen time each. I would also say that near the end of the season it seemed to lack direction a bit, almost feeling like the writers were struggling to figure out where they wanted to go with things and were just throwing out random ideas. The music was very well done. The graphics were the usual Tell tale fare which I enjoy and if you do as well then you know what to expect. I played Season Two on Linux using Wine and DXVK. It never crashed. There was an issue where some of the shadows would flicker and when they weren’t flickering they looked kind of boxy and lacking detail. I’m not sure if this was an issue Windows users faced as well or if it was a Wine issue. There was one graphics setting; an AA toggle and your resolution selection. Alt-Tab worked. The game saves at checkpoints which are usually not too poorly spaced out but a manual save system would have been preferred. You can pause cut scenes but not skip them.

Best game in the series
I finished all games in the series and for me Season Two is the best one. Best story, good characters backgrounds, good twist with original story. Season Two continues where first season left off, further adventures of Clementine. Episodes are long with good twist, narration is very good. Game is 12-15 hours long. For me this is the best game they made in the series, story, characters everything is so well done and very consistent with previous season. Like you never finished first season it keeps going and that I can`t say for later games... Only thing I don`t like is that I couldn`t transfer my choices from season one cause Telltale servers are dead so I had to start from scratch...

Amazing story imo
This is for both season one, and season two. I personally felt that the story telling was pure perfection, full of real emotion, created real connections between me and the characters, and just felt so sincere. I think Telltale Games has done an amazing job with this game and it's clear that they took their time writing the story, poured their hearts out into it completely. There isn't much in terms of actual gameplay, mostly just an animated story with a bit of interaction, but, surprisingly, I personally don't mind at all. I honestly can't even begin to explain how gripping it was, how well they had written the cliff-hangers into the end of each chapter, which is something I've noticed the writers of the show sometimes have a tough time with. If you like story-heavy games like this, linear, but not so linear in it's own way, then I swear to christ you will want to play through both seasons. I almost don't want to replay these seasons because I want to remember these two games as one solid story, every choice that I had made, everything that happened, every character that was lost, dying or leaving. I want to remember this story by the emotions that it had filled me with during my playthrough, with nothing changing, no matter how much I may want some things to change, because..I just don't want to make it seem like my choices meant nothing, like none of it made a difference in the story, a real conclusive difference. It was one of the best things I have ever experienced in my twenty-two years in this world, and it's a story I'll never forget, and it may sound silly, but these are memories I'll always cherish. Such a tragic, yet beautiful end to Clementine's journy. I have that feeling that you get when you can't believe it's over, like people should still be here, like things should still be the way they were. Never have I been so moved by a story, any story, be it a story told in the form of a video game, a show, movie, or even a song. This is truly amazing...

Best story in series.
Season Two is an almost perfect sequel to Season One and it’s the best game in the series in my opinion. If the previous game is an emotional trail, this is an emotional gauntlet. Each character is unique with their own emotional baggage, I became emotionally attached to every main character introduced. They just felt so real to me. From the very beginning of the game it’s made clear that despite all the horrors Clementine has already faced, the worst is still ahead of her. The events of this game puts Clementine through hardships and challenges that no human being should be asked to go through. Season Two’s story will keep you on the edge of your seat. Earlier I said that Season Two is an ALMOST a perfect sequel, some changes have been made from Season One. Puzzles are simpler to the point that they can barley be called puzzles anymore, the focus is shifted even more towards the narrative (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing). This game is faster paced with less calm moments than Season One. It’s also slightly shorter. In conclusion, The Walking Dead: Season Two is an amazing narrative driven game. I especially liked each of the multiple endings, I won’t spoil them, but they’re all great and fitting conclusions to the story in their own way. Pros: +Perfect continuation of Season One’s story +Well written story and characters, best in the series +Unique visual style that looks smooth and has aged well +Alternate choices and dialogue makes repeat playthroughs more enjoyable +Facial animations express lots of emotion +Animation looks a lot better and more cinematic than the previous game +Great soundtrack on par with Season One’s soundtrack Cons: -Puzzles are too simple and the game is very easy -Slightly shorter than Season One
