Wonderful turnbased RPG

This game looks pretty good and has a combat system that seems deeper at first look than it is. The PC version at this time lacks some of the features of the mobile counterpart, including PVP, Blood Moon events, Daily Brutals, and Dungeons. These things are what elevates the mobile game above the PC port (at this moment). But don't mistake me, this game is great fun, and has patched out the mobile free to play economy with everything purchasable in-game with gold instead of the black shards premium currency. The story is simplistic and a fun, semi-serious rewriting of the origin of Vampires and their powers/weaknesses. The combat quickly devolves into get to combo turn, eviscerate everything that isn't a Brutal and move on. Without the daily brutals to somewhat challenge you, there is not much point in playing past the second or 3rd rebirth. Still, worth a grab at the sale price with all the good going for it. Controller support is a little janky, they just assigned buttons to functions without much logic. I recommend KB/M.

The vampire rpg for those who hate them

Pros: humour, excellent and rich vampire gameplay which ease the rpg, different meta games increasing the replayability, nice musics Cons: one vs one combats, some old graphics, some quest may need spoiler, at very max level character abilities end maxed quite the same This game might be hated as an android cash game, but as a made pc game it's a little gem despite its cons coming from its birth hardware.

Quirky in a good way and 100% awesome :D

I wanted to test the game, but I ended up playing for over 4 hours straight. XD Suffice to say I love it. :D You can play with just the mouse and move on the map talking to people and making choices in dialogue and accepting quests. Combat is turn based with a large selection of abilities your character can use and the skill tree functions by investing enough points into the previous skill to unlock the next one for upgrading bonuses such as getting extra % of gold, EXP and more HP and Focus (you use it for skills, so it's like mana). You also get to spend one ability point per level for comabt buffs and special attacks that use Focous. Only your main weapon's damage is counted for normal attacks, the offhand one is used for combos. Each weapon type has its own skills you can use. Outside of combat and in a friendly town, you can create potions - set it up and let the specified amount of time pass as you do something else, though you can only acess the craft screen in a friendly town, so it's best to pocket a potion before going out. You can create health, fast travel and other potions and red orbs you can use to upgrade existing equipment at a forge. You'll frequently find chests with gold and people to talk to for side quests - say helping a village get rid of a curse that's actually about milk, not their uncureable stupidity. There's a lot of humor like that in some conversations and side quests. If you die, you will respawn at the last friendly location you were in, so testing the waters with opponents and seeing if you are strong enough yet or not is encouraged and you'll only lose a few gold coins if you die. There are achivements for monsters and costmetic options that also strengthen your character. Unfortunately the female character is one in apperence only as the dialogue will address you as male, but that's my only complaint. The game is incredibly fun once you figure out the core mechanics and get a few levels, so I warmly recommend it.

From Android to PC, with Love

A few years back, I was in a really bad place, mentally and financially. I didn't have the energy to sit down and get invested into a deep and advanced kind of game. Then, I stumbled upon this hile browsing the Google Play Store. It seemed like a pretty basic, isometric CRPG. Giving Vampire's Fall a shot still is one of my favorite gaming memories - and it was on my freaking phone! I even reached out to the devs on Twitter, telling them how much I enjoyed their game. They quickly replied and were very grateful and nice. When I browsed GOG and happened to bump into this again, I knew I had to get it. While there's some traces of the microtransaction mindset, it never got in the way of the game or story back on my phone, and it doesn't on PC either. The design behind thes is admirable and something I appriciate a lot. The writing is witty and doesn't take itself seriously really, while retaining a pretty good storyline, and fun side-quests. Sure, it isn't a perfect game - but what is? I highly recommend picking up Vampire's Fall: Orgins, and to check out the devs other game as well. It will be worth your money AND time; cause you will lose track of time in this great, fun, and engaging adventure.

Poor Man's Diablo 1.5

For what it is worth, I dig it and it gives me the feeling of playing a variant of Diablo 1 and that's okay. Got it on sales, it wasn't bad and I'm still playing it for the time being, though I wish I can choose/modify encounter rates.
